Pop Hype Video
Pop Hype is a music video channel that I made on Chime.tv.  It pulls together a playlist of YouTube videos based on the top 50 tracks from the Hype Machine.  The link above will automatically update every day with new tracks as they appear on the Hype Machine.  The videos are a mix of official MTV-like videos, live concert clips, and some fan produced slide-shows / other orginal work that feature the popular songs from HypeM as a soundtrack.  Watch the Hype.

For Sale: 3816 22nd St San Francisco, CA I used to daydream about living in a converted city firehouse.  If I had $6.3M, I might buy this place in Noe Valley.  Nice mix of old and new.  Looks like the firepole is even still in place. (via my friends on FriendFeed)

A simple software tool for Mac OS X that lets you copy music from your iPod / iPhone to your computer. Very useful if you loose the music on your hard-drive, but have a copy on your iPod.

Brightkite Badge Widget

I was searching for a Brightkite badge this morning and couldn’t find one, so I took a few minutes to make one.  Brightkite is a slick new tool for sharing short status updates that include your location.  If you’re a Brightkite member, you can grab a badge for your blog or site here.  Just enter your Brightkite user name, click “Run Pipe”, and then select “Get as a Badge”.  From there, you can customize the height and width of the widget and copy the code into your web page.  I’m thinking about using Brightkite to post my Twitter updates so I can include location information and photos.  I really like the concept and their site + iPhone app look great.  If you have any feedback on the badge, let me know in the comments.
