Sosumi: Log Your iPhone GPS Data
Tyler Hall wrote a PHP script that developers could use to track the location of their iPhone on a routine basis and record GPS coordinates in Yahoo! Fire Eagle. I don’t have the technical chops to set this up for my phone and Apple wouldn’t like that the data is being scrapped from their MobileMe site, but I like the idea of automatically logging my location data. I hope this hack inspires Apple to offer this as a standard service, along with the privacy features included in Fire Eagle.
