I spent some time redesigning my Tumblr today. Quite a bit of time actually. This stuff ain’t easy for those of us who don’t know HTML & CSS. It’s not entirely done yet, but it’s way better than before I’d say. I plan to add a new header image, some hand drawn icons, and maybe a sidebar with some slick, simple widgets I’m working on. What do you think so far? Let me know.
I’m not a designer, I just play one on my PC. Most of the design elements were inspired (ie. stolen) from We Break Stuff. The defining feature is a background pattern from the amazing Ray Fenwick. Ray’s work is pretty awesome. His designs have a natural, human element to them that’s missing from most sites today. I hope I can work with him someday.
That’s all I can take today. Time for dinner.
