Crazy Sexy Cool Flash Music Player
If you have a website, Tumblr, blog, MySpace page or anything else that supports flash embed code, you should do yourself a favor and check out the amazing music player that my man William White developed along with Joe Magnani from Yahoo!’s Media Innovation Group. The player consists of a few lines of flash code that you embed into your page which plays MP3 tracks from any URL.
Say you came across this post of 20 tracks from I Am Fuel, You Are Friends and wanted to share the tunes you found there with your friends. Just paste their URL into the Yahoo! Music Player using the “menu” button next to the Yahoo! logo in the top right corner of the player, then click, “get code”, paste that giberish into your site and you end up with this hotness.
You have a choice of colors: either paint it black or white (as in William White). Tumblrs can paste the code right into the embed form for a Video post (Tumblr calls it a Video post, but it really supports any flash embed code).
Lastly, if you’re a Facebook person, be sure to check out the Music Blogs app that William and friends built featuring the player. It’s a great way to discover new tunes from thousands of music blogs and share your favorites with your Facebook posse.

Rock on.
