I’m no longer the #1 “Crazy Sexy Cool Player”
Update: I’m back… for now. Will it last?
Weird. Earlier this morning I randomly noticed that a post I wrote titled Crazy Sexy Cool Flash Music Player was appearing as the #1 result on Google for the search “crazy sexy cool player”. Naturally, I found this amusing that I was appearing as the top result for that phrase. I sent the link around to some friends, and just a few hours later, I’m not even on page one. I wonder what’s driving that sort of real-time change in the Google search index that would make a link change position so quickly. Was I seeing a personalized link? Was it that Google somehow recognized that the link was for a blog post that might hold short-lived interest among their customers? Interesting that thet update the results so quickly.
Guess I’m not the crazy sexy cool player after all (sniff).
