Tumblrs, Who’s Reblogging You?

Update: this report below is no longer working since the source I used to find notes for each post is no longer available.

After seeing Kiyo’s post explaining how to find reblog notes for any Tumblr post, I thought I’d try to hack something together that tells me who is reblogging my posts. I threw together a really rough prototype in Yahoo! Pipes that analyzes your last 50 posts, finds all the reblogs for those posts, and then ranks the people who reblog you most. You can see the output here and change the Tumblr user name at the end of the URL to reflect your rebloggers instead of mine.

It’s fun to see some new people on there who don’t follow me directly. Eventually, I’d like to turn this into a widget that I can display on my page (link love for my rebloggers), but I don’t really know how to write code. Pipes is about as technical as I get. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know here in the comments. I’m also not sure if Tumblr would approve of collecting data this way, as opposed to a future version of the API that could support it.

Anyway, to everyone on my list, thanks for the reblog!
