Flickr Video Interestingness Feed

If you appreciate quality online video, I think you’ll like this feed I just made called Flickr Video Interestingness.  I’m a big fan of Flickr Explore, which allows you to scroll through the most interesting content posted to Flickr over the last 7 days.  Videos are now mixed in with photos, but I couldn’t find a way to pull out just the most interesting videos without the photo results, so I made the Flickr Video Interestingness feed.  Every hour, it makes a call to the Flickr API and grabs the 100 most interesting videos over a rolling 7 day period (as determined by comments, favorites, views, and a bunch of other factors).  You can then subscribe the results as a feed and choose how many of the 100 videos to include in your updates.  If you want to get updates throughout the day, use a high number.  If you just want a couple amazing videos per week, go low.  The most interesting videos will be automatically delivered to your feed reader of choice.  Google Reader and other feed readers that support video enclosures will even allow you to watch the clips right from the feed, without having to click through to Flickr.

You’ll see that there are already some amazing videos in the feed and it’s only going to get better as more people upload great clips.  This is my new favorite video discovery tool.  I hope you like it too.
