New Birth Brass Band - Ms. Lollipop
I’ll be in New Orleans for Jazz Fest in less than one week. Till then, I plan to post some songs from bands I’ll see or have seen in past years in NOLA. Lots of funky horns and creole goodness.
For several years in a row, a group of friends and I rented the Magnolia Mansion for the week we were in town (photo below). It was pretty run-down then, but the mansion was recently fixed up and turned into a nice B&B. I have some great memeories of these guys playing in our living room to a crowd of a hundred or so friends.
