Favorite iPhone Apps?

What are your favorite iPhone apps so far?  Mine are:

  • Yelp: Reviews of local businesses. Search near you without having to enter an address. Filter search results by price, distance, cuisine, and other criteria.  Super useful.
  • Pandora: Music discovery on the go.  Enter an artist you like and Pandora suggests similar music. Pretty much all the features from their site - powerful concept when applied to mobile.
  • Bloomberg: Stock quotes and Wall Street news.  Spin your phone sideways when looking at a stock and you get a full-screen interactive price chart.
  • Shazam: Name that tune.  Hold your iPhone up to a speaker playing a song you like and the app will analyze the audio and try to tell you artist, track, and album information. Shazam!
  • Phonesaber: Silly little app that makes Star Wars light saber sounds based on movement of the iPhone device.  I’m sure I’ll hate this in a day or two, but fun for now.

Reblog or comment with your favs, please!

It’s weird that there’s no easy way to link to apps from the web, right?

Update: Turns out there is a way to link to the apps.  Thanks for the tip, Brian!
