One Revolution, Chris Waddell
This is a truly inspirational story. In March, Chris Waddell will attempt to become the first paraplegic person to summit Kilimanjaro. I knew Chris in high school. He was a senior proctor for my freshman dorm. A skiing accident in college left Chris paralyzed from the waist down. Just two years later, he was named to the U.S. Disabled Ski Team where he became the most decorated male skier in Paralympic history, winning 12 medals over 4 games. Having conquered downhill skiing, Chris is now determined to climb the tallest mountain in Africa.
