Chuck Prophet - Let Freedom Ring
I went to see Chuck Prophet’s acoustic Obama benefit show last night at the Hemlock Tavern here in SF. As an experiment, I recorded this new song of his with one of the many free voice recorder iPhone apps, which I downloaded from the bar. The quality is pretty poor, but it’s respectable in terms of capturing the moment. I still think that live audio recording would make for a really cool feature for a Tumblr iPhone app. You could record shows like this or simple voice messages and post them to your Tumblr blog directly from your phone. This track is sort of a proof-of-concept.
