Last.fm Tumblr Feed Issues
There is a problem with the feed that many of you are using to import your weekly top 5 artists into Tumblr. Last.fm hasn’t published data for the week ending 12/28 yet, so you shouldn’t have received an update this week, but it looks like we all got duplicates of the prior week ending 12/21. Tumblr isn’t supposed to import two link posts that both point to the same URL, but it looks like they did this week. I didn’t make any changes to the feed. My apologies for the inconvenience. I contacted Tumblr support about the issue and hope it doesn’t happen again.
Update: Tumblr confirmed that this was a one time glitch caused by moving to some new servers. Peace has been restored. Happy New Year!
