Every Thursday and Saturday nights, Mission Street Food invites some of the top chefs from the Bay Area to a borrowed restaurant in San Francisco’s Mission District. Diners are treated to an excellent meal at extremely reasonable prices with all the profits going to local charities. I went last night and had a delicious meal for two plus drinks for around $50. The menus, which include meals by chefs from restaurants like Bar Tartine, Delfina, Home, Slow Club, Sociale, and more, are announced a few days in advance on the Mission Street Food blog.
